1. Who We Are

GradeYourQuote.com (the "Site") is operated by HomeCloud ([HomeCloud legal entity name]) ("HomeCloud," "we," "us"). HomeCloud is a licensed general contractor and an AI home operating system. We help homeowners understand, price and complete work on their homes.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site and to grades we provide. Our Terms of Service also apply.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you give us

• Contact information: your name, email address and phone number.
• Property information: your property address and zip code.
• Quote files and photos: the contractor's quote and any photos you upload.
• Job details: the work needed, your situation and any deadlines, such as a closing date.
• Your real estate agent: the agent's name, if you give it.
• Survey answers: what you tell us about the contractor, such as sales tactics or whether the final price changed.

2.2 Information we collect automatically

• Device information: browser type, device type, operating system and IP address.
• Usage information: pages you visit, links you click and how long you stay.
• Cookies and analytics: see Section 10.

2.3 Information from others

• Your real estate agent, if the agent sent you to the Site.
• Public records, such as contractor license and permit data.
• HomeCloud's own records, if you become a HomeCloud customer.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Produce your grade and send it to you.
• Contact you about your quote, your grade and any HomeCloud offer.
• Offer to do the work, when your job qualifies.
• Build a database of quotes and prices by contractor, trade, scope, quality tier and area.
• Publish contractor grades and scorecards (see Section 6).
• Create market pricing benchmarks and reports in combined or de-identified form.
• Find and recruit contractors to work with HomeCloud.
• Train and improve our software, including AI models.
• Offer you other HomeCloud home services. You can opt out at any time.
• Run, secure and improve the Site.
• Follow the law and protect our rights.

4. How We Share Information

4.1 What we never do

• We never publish your name, address, phone number or email.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• We never share your mobile number or text opt-in data with third parties for their marketing (see Section 8).

4.2 When we share personal information

We share personal information only in these cases:

• With service providers who act for HomeCloud, such as hosting, email, texting and analytics providers. They may use it only to provide services to us.
• When the law requires it, such as in response to a subpoena or court order.
• To protect rights and safety, including ours, yours and the public's.
• In a business transfer, such as a merger, financing or sale of all or part of our business.
• At your direction. For example, if you check the box on the form, we share your grade with your real estate agent.

4.3 Combined and de-identified data

We may share or publish combined or de-identified data. This includes pricing benchmarks and market reports. We may share it with business partners. This data does not identify you. We will not try to re-identify it, and we require partners not to try either.

5. Information About Other People

Quotes and job details may include information about other people. Examples are a contractor's staff, a co-owner or a tenant. Please share only what is needed for your grade. By sharing it, you confirm you have the right to do so.

Please do not upload sensitive information. Examples are Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, health information or photos of people. If you upload it by mistake, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Contractor Information

Quotes contain information about contractors, such as their names, prices, scope and terms. This is business information. We use it to grade quotes and build our pricing data.

We may publish it in contractor grades and scorecards that name the contractor. We only publish a contractor's grade once we have enough quotes from that contractor for the results to be statistically significant, and only as totals and averages. We never attach your identity, address or individual quote to that published information.

Contractors may respond to their grades or ask for corrections at [vendors@gradeyourquote.com].

7. How We Use AI

We use artificial intelligence (AI) to help draft grades. A HomeCloud project manager reviews each grade before we send it. We may also use submissions to train and improve our software, including AI models. When we use AI service providers, they act for HomeCloud under contract.

8. Texts, Calls and Email

When you submit a quote, you give us your express consent to contact you by email, phone call and text message. This includes messages sent using automated technology. We contact you about your quote, your grade and any HomeCloud offer.

• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any text to opt out.

We never share your mobile number or text opt-in data with third parties for their marketing. In the words required by text-messaging carriers:

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

To stop marketing emails, click "unsubscribe" in any email. We may still send messages about a job you have with us.

9. Your Real Estate Agent

The form has a checkbox to share your grade with your real estate agent. If you check it, we send your grade to the agent you name. If you do not check it, we do not send your grade to your agent.

If you name a real estate agent on the form, or an agent sent you to the Site, we may tell that agent that you submitted a quote. We do not share your grade, your quote or its price with the agent unless you check the box.

10. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar tools to run the Site and understand how people use it. We use analytics providers such as [analytics provider name]. [We do / do not use advertising cookies.]

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the Site may not work without them.

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for these signals. We do not currently respond to them. [Confirm whether the Site will honor Global Privacy Control signals.]

11. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. Typical periods are:

• Quote files and pricing details: we may keep them as part of our pricing database. We remove or de-identify your personal information when it is no longer needed.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. 13.2 What deletion covers

When you ask us to delete your personal information, we will delete it or de-identify it. We may keep:

• Combined or de-identified data.
• Information we need for legal, warranty, tax or contract reasons.

13.3 State privacy rights

Residents of some states have more rights under state privacy laws. These states include Texas. Those rights may include the right to opt out of certain uses, such as targeted advertising or sale of personal information. We will honor these rights as the law requires.

13.4 How to make a request

13.5 Appeals

We will not treat you differently for using your privacy rights.

The Site is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
